Basil Whole – Derived from the Greek word basileus for king, basil was historically known as the herb of kings. Consisting of the dried leaves of ocimum basilicum and a member of the mint family, basil is native to India and Iran.

Oregano – Grown in dry, warm climates oregano is highly concentrated in essential oils, a quality that adds much of its flavor. It is available whole and ground.

Parsley Flake – Native to Mediterranean lands, parsley is a small plant harvested for its leaves, roots, and seed oils. Parsley leaves are traditionally used as a garnish for foods. They add no calories and no fat to the diet.
