Sesame
Thought to originate in the Indian subcontinent, sesame is an ancient oil seed first depicted some 4,000 years ago in an Egyptian drawing of a baker adding sesame seeds to dough. Sesame is rich in protein and polyunsaturated fats and is used in cooking for its rich, nutty flavor. Our sesame is offered in a variety of origins such as the United States, Ethiopia, India, Venezuela, and Guatemala.
